About the Director: Mayme
Paul-Thompson
Mayme
Paul-Thompson performed on Broadway in A Chorus Line, The Tap
Dance Kid, Little Johnny Jones, and the 1984 TONY Awards.
Off-Broadway, she was in the musical Sugar. She also has
National Tours and numerous
Regional Theater productions all over the country to her credit. Mayme has appeared in many
commercials, industrials, television shows, and was the lead in the
film Stages.
She has
worked with Michael Jackson, Donny Osmond, Rob Morrow, Juliet
Prowse, Hinton Battle, Savion Glover, David Cassidy, Gregory Hines, Woody Allen,
and Danny Daniels to name a few.
As a Director/Choreographer, Mayme has
over 75 musical productions to her credit. She has directed for
professional theaters, community theaters, colleges, and schools.
She was the choreographer for the hit TV series Northern
Exposure. Mayme has also choreographed commercials,
industrials, and The Seattle Mariners’ dance team. As a
teacher, Mayme has taught Tap, Jazz, Acting and Musical Theater
classes to kids and adults of all ages and continues to teach tap at
CDT. For the past 11 years, she has been the
Drama Director at Lindero Canyon Middle School. She was recently a finalist
for the Bravo Arts Award for her contribution to the Arts in the Conejo Valley.
Mayme is married to an actor,
Randy Thompson, and together they have four great children, a
fabulous daughter-in-law, and two dogs! Mayme formed Gypsy
Productions eight years ago, bringing a Summer Camp performing arts
experience to aspiring young artists in the Conejo Valley.

Jamie Alcroft: has been doing
voice-overs for many years. His voice can be heard on
national commercials, animated series, and interactive video games.
He is half of the comedy team Mack and Jamie.
Erin Fagundes:
produces and directs productions at Conejo Players and teaches "How
to Audition" classes to children of all ages.
Eric Germansky: is an award winning
set designer with many credits in theater, television and
film.
Alex Giuffre: is a professional ballet
dancer formerly with Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Ballet Idaho.
She is currently dancing with Montgomery Ballet.
Selena Justice: studied music, acting
and science at BYU. She works professionally live and in-studio,
and teaches voice and piano. She specializes in classical
sight-reading, ear training, improvisation and composition.
Laura Klein: is a musical theater
teacher with national and international credits including
A
Chorus Line.
Angie McKnight:
is an accomplished
actress herself who has also studied and taught stage make-up.
Heidi Nielson: is a stunt-woman and
enjoys teaching stage combat.
Marty Pistone:
was a movement teacher
for American Conservatory Theater and taught stage combat at
Juilliard. He has staged fight scenes for The San Francisco Ballet
and many other productions.
Rodney Sherwood: is a CODIE Award
winner. He has been a stand-up comic for 14 years, and has
performed all over the country.
Steve Staley: is a voice-over actor with
many animated series and cartoons to his credit.
Randy Thompson: is an actor who has
Guest Starred on Boston Legal, The West Wing, ER, Buffy the
Vampire Slayer, 24 and Ally McBeal to name a
few. Randy was a Stand-up Comic for 12 years and is also an
extraordinary set builder.
Doug Traer:
teaches commercial acting classes and runs commercial casting
sessions. Sheila Manning, Ross Lacy, Joe Blake and Stuart Stone are
a few of the Casting directors he has worked for.
Joanne
Wasserman: is a voice teacher and conductor of an international
award winning choral group.
